What we collect, why we hold it, and what we will never do with it

Effective 10 September 2026 · Webb LLC doing business as Deskbell · Applies to this website and the services described on it.

Deskbell is a trading name of Webb LLC, a Nevada limited liability company. This policy covers this website and the call answering, messaging and pipeline services we operate for our clients. It is written to be read rather than survived, and every commitment in it is one we actually keep.

Who we are

Deskbell is operated by Webb LLC, a Nevada limited liability company, doing business as Deskbell. We sell to local service businesses across the United States — HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, landscaping, med spas, dental and chiropractic. Written questions about this policy go to privacy@deskbell.net.

What we collect from you

What you give us on a form or a call: your name, business name, phone number, email address, your trade, the number of locations you run, and whatever you tell us about how leads reach you today. If you become a client, we also hold the operational detail needed to run the system — your services, service area, pricing rules, calendar and the software you already use. We record the date, time and IP address at the moment you submit a form, together with the exact consent wording shown to you on screen.

What we collect from your customers

On your behalf and under your instruction, acting as your service provider: name, phone number, email address where given, the content and recordings of calls and messages, appointment details, and the source the lead came from. This is your data, not ours. We hold it to run the service you are paying for and for no other purpose.

Mobile information

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in data and consent will never be shared, sold, rented or transferred to third parties, affiliates or lead generators for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors who provide support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. Consent is also not transferable between businesses: consent a customer gives to one of our clients belongs to that client alone, and is never reused for another client, for another sender, or for Deskbell itself.

What we do not do

We do not sell personal information, and we have never done so. We do not share your customer list with any other client, including clients in your trade and in your service area. We do not use your customers’ data to market Deskbell to them. We do not buy contact lists, and we will not message a list you bought.

Who processes data alongside us

We run on a small, named set of providers rather than an unnamed cloud. This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. Calls, text messages and the client pipeline run on HighLevel Inc., which carries voice and messaging over Twilio Inc. Payments, when they apply, are processed by Stripe Inc. Each is bound by its own contractual terms and each is used for the function described here and nothing else. If we add a processor, this list changes before the processor does.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become clients: two years from last contact, then deleted. Client account and billing records: seven years after the engagement ends, which is the retention our tax and accounting obligations require. Call recordings and transcripts: thirteen months by default, or a different period you set in writing. Consent records: for as long as we hold the contact, plus five years afterwards, because a consent record is the evidence that the contact agreed and it has to outlive the contact.

Your customer list stays yours

Exportable on request in a standard format, at any time, for any reason, including because you are leaving us. No charge, no exit fee, and no delay while someone tries to talk you out of it.

Analytics on this website

We use Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not build a profile of you or follow you to other sites. It tells us which pages are read and which buttons are pressed. We do not run advertising trackers, session recording or heat mapping on this site.

California residents

Deskbell does not currently meet any of the thresholds that make the CCPA and CPRA apply to a business — we are below the revenue threshold, we hold data on far fewer than 100,000 California consumers, and we earn no revenue at all from selling or sharing personal information. We are telling you the position honestly rather than reciting rights that do not yet attach. Independently of that, and as a matter of practice, a California resident who asks us what we hold about them, or asks us to delete it, will get an answer and the deletion. Write to privacy@deskbell.net.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS only, with a strict content security policy and modern security headers. Form submissions are validated on the server, rate limited at the network edge, and delivered to our CRM over an authenticated endpoint. Client data lives in HighLevel under access-controlled accounts. No system is perfect and anyone who claims otherwise is selling something; if we ever suffer a breach affecting your data, we will tell you what happened, when, and what we are doing about it.

Children

Our services are sold to businesses. This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us information, write to us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we update the effective date at the top and, where the change is material, we tell existing clients directly rather than relying on you to notice.
